Have No Fear

Just a quick update today. My biopsy was benign! I will have to have another procedure, but no biggie since it’s benign! God is good! My miracle continues. I am beyond thankful and grateful. I know that you have to believe that once a miracle is given to you, it’s done. You don’t need to worry anymore. But that’s the most challenging aspect of metastatic cancer for me. I believe I have been healed (Even if I die from this disease, I will have been given the miracle because I’ve been given so much “bonus time” I never thought I’d get.), but it requires so much faith to keep believing that it has been done and will continue to be done when “metastatic” means that it will come back. I keep praying for more and more faith, and He always gives me more. Hope is greater than fear, right? Faith over fear. This goes through my head EVERY day. I have a bracelet with this saying on it right where I can see it when I get ready every day. Even though it has been six years since I became NED, I think about that saying EVERY day. And I want to. People say that you can’t let cancer define you. But I don’t want to forget that I am lucky and blessed every single day. And I want to be thankful and grateful every day. Maybe "aware” will become my word for 2026. I am aware that this cancer can come back at any time; it’s lurking. But I am also aware that even if it does, I will be OK. I am just so very thankful that today is not the day (hopefully not — the day is just dawning!), and my results were benign, and my fears were quelled, once again. Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers and good vibes! I know they work!! Stay safe and healthy, everyone!
