Realizing I’m Not a Doctor🤣

Just a quick update this morning. I got my results from my scan in my patient portal yesterday afternoon. I loved having an early appointment  – got my same-day results within hours! This time, I’m not going to speculate on anything until I talk to my doctor in a few weeks. There are several things and terms I don’t understand this time (and I’ve learned a lot about medical terminology/phrases/jargon/language as it relates to cancer over the past 10 years!). It wasn’t just a clean scan, but there is no evidence in the findings of metastatic cancer, and I think it’s quite possible that it is still a clear scan. I am going on a bucket list trip to the Hallmark Christmas Experience this year (HUGE fan!!); I’m not going to think about cancer AT ALL there, and then I will have my meeting with my oncologist after that. I will have questions for her, and I’m sure she will have questions for me after seeing my scan results. If I learn anything before then, I’ll post again. If not, I will post after my doctor appointment in early December! Until then, stay safe and healthy, everyone!
